Communication
The original Latin meaning of the verb communicare is: to share, inform, make common, give, grant. This is how we see communication, and this is the main factor of our work: It consists of making conversations between people possible and designing communication between our customer and its IT landscape, between IT components among themselves, and between the user and his or her application.
The Open Source community is also a community of communicators, a place of possible and actual conversations. This constitutes its strength.
Our relationship to the community is discursive. A discourse is a conversation that goes back and forth, a mutual exchange of knowledge and information, a give and take for mutual benefit. The community helps us solve complex problems and we like to share our knowledge with it.
