tarent GmbH on the Cebit 2008

On this year's Cebit, tarent presents two solutions that show the whole bandwidth of our Java architectures. In connection with a mobile solution for the use in radio patrol cars, we show modern security functions on a N800 Internet Tablet. At a second exhibition stand, our solution for the process handling in the context of the topic D-115 can be seen.

Central Control Unit in Operation Cars of the Police Brandenburg

Within a project to equip radion patrol cars of the police Brandenburg with an integrated IT-solution, the tarent has developed a central control unit for IT-equipment of the patrol cars of the police Brandenburg. This solution is currently tested in 20 patrol cars. The central control unit coordinates and overlooks different systems of the patrol car and is able to switch them on and off, seperately, to read data, to transmit those via digital radio connection, as well as to display the system's status. All functions can be operated out of the cockpit via the touchscreen. The hardware basis is Nokia's internet tablet N800.The individual software solution is a Java application that is based on the Jalimo Project that is leaded by the tarent.

The overall project is supervised by T-Systems; We are one of the technology partners. It can be examined on the exhibition stand of the Zentraldienst der Polizei Brandenburg (ZDPol Brandenburg).

D-115

In the intensive collaboration with T-Systems, a solution's scenario for the federal state's and local authority area's needs within the context of D-115, the unitary authority telephone number, has been created. The presented solution offers a continous concept to realize a process handling system for D-115 out of one hand.

The tarent GmbH's contribution is a Business Process Management System (BPM), by which the administration's processes, and interactions between citizens and administrative bodies can run. A feature: The processes are already today modelled with the current BPEL 2.0 standard, the leading description language for processes. The underlying process environment ActiveBPEL is in used within the leading Process Management Systems. Business Process Management is one of the tarent's technological core topics. T-Systems presents the collective solution in hall 26 on the exhibition stand A01.

We are looking forward to your interest in the presented solutions and are with our colleagues at your disposal on-location for your questions, as well as agreed meetings.
