SCO promises to refrain their Allegations

The boss of SCO, Germany, Michael Olson, handed over a  cease and desist letter to the tarent GmbH's attornies, in which he assures to stop claiming the following assertions, at least in germany

• That Linux would contain intellectual property of the SCO.
• That users and customers of Open Source Enterprises would have to face restrictions.
• That Linux would be an unauthorized UNIX derivative.

Elmar Geese, manager of the tarent GmbH, said to this

"The assurance of Olson's, to renounce his untrue assertions concerning the german market is a first step that needs to be followed by a global renunciation. The truth of facts is for sure a global circumstance and not limited to Germany."
